Frequently asked questions

What is cloud mining?
Cloud mining means leasing Bitcoin mining capacity (hash rate) from hardware someone else owns and operates, instead of buying and running miners yourself. With Solace Cloud Mining, you lease hash rate — from a pool of available TH/s offered to customers — on a growing fleet of mining machines owned and operated in South Africa, and receive the Bitcoin your share earns each day.
How much does a cloud mining contract cost in South Africa?
Solace Cloud Mining contracts start at R100 for terms of 6, 9, 12, 24, 36 months, paid once in rand. Running costs are a 15% service fee on mining rewards plus a hosting fee of R0.45 per TH/s per day, both itemized on every statement — there are no other charges.
How are Bitcoin payouts calculated?
Payouts are reconciled daily against the mining pool's actual reported earnings and the fleet's actual hash rate, not against a projected or advertised rate. Your contract's share of the day's real pool receipts is credited to your account in BTC, with the service fee and hosting fee deducted and shown as separate line items.
What is the minimum Bitcoin withdrawal amount?
The minimum withdrawal is 0.0005 BTC. Once your accumulated balance reaches that threshold you can request a withdrawal to your own Bitcoin wallet from the dashboard; requests are reviewed and processed manually for security.
Is cloud mining profitable?
It depends on three things no provider controls: the Bitcoin price, the network difficulty, and your fee load. Solace Cloud Mining publishes a calculator that shows estimated BTC output for any budget and term using live network data, and never guarantees any outcome — Bitcoin generated is subject to significant price volatility, and hash rate output depends on network conditions.
Do I need my own mining hardware or a Bitcoin wallet?
No hardware — the machines are owned and run by Solace Cloud Mining in South Africa, and your contract simply leases a share of their output. You will need your own Bitcoin wallet address when you withdraw, since payouts above the 0.0005 BTC minimum are sent on-chain to a wallet you control.
Can I cancel a cloud mining contract or get a refund?
Yes — before payment, a capacity reservation can be abandoned at any time at no charge. After payment, you can cancel an activated contract within 7 days for a refund of the purchase price, less any Bitcoin already credited to your balance. After the cooling-off period the allocation is committed for the contract term and is non-refundable except where consumer protection law requires it. Full details are in the Refunds & Cancellation Policy at scloudmining.co.za/refunds-and-cancellation.
